Kansas City Chiefs Versus Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC championship game
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will Square off against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Winner of this year's Matchup will be headed to Arizona for Super Bowl LVII. To face off against the Winner of the NFC Title game between the Philidaphea Eagles and the San Francisco Forty-Niners. For the second straight AFC title game, these two quarterbacks will go head-to-head. Last year's winner Cincinnati defeated the Chiefs 27 - 24 punching their ticket to last year's SuperBowl falling short in that game to a Matt Stafford-led Los Angeles Rams. Cincinnati looking to right last year's SuperBowl loss will put up a great fight against the Andy Reid-coached chiefs. With the Chief's win over the Jaguars, Andy Reid became the third coach to win 20 playoff games. Andy Ried said, "he's worked hard in treatment and is doing ok". Patrick Mahomes suffered a similar injury in Week One against the Same Jaguars team. Andy Reid also Stated "I think this one isn't quite as bad as that one they're similar, sore, but not quite the same. Chiefs are taking it day by day at this point and at this time we are uncertain if Mahomes will practice with the team on Wednesday but he does plan on playing Sunday against the Bengals. Joe Burrow is expected to receive a huge contract extension by the bengals this offseason who have him for at least two more seasons that is of course if they decide to pick up his fifth year option. When asked about the teams super bowl window with his pending extension in the works Joe Burrow stated "the window is my whole career. Pending the outcome of this game one thing we know for sure is that we are likely to see these two face off a lot in the future.
